Milan Extends Lead in Stage Two of AlUla Tour 2026

Stage two of the AlUla Tour 2026, in its sixth edition, continued on Wednesday, January 28, with fierce competition among elite international cyclists across the historic landscapes of AlUla. The race is organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation, in cooperation with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
Following a strong opening stage on Tuesday, stage two started and finished at Al-Manshiyah Train Station, covering a distance of 152 kilometers. Italian rider Jonathan Milan of Lidl–Trek claimed victory in the second stage, maintaining his lead in the overall standings.
Italian Daniel Skerl of Bahrain Victorious finished second, while Germany’s Pascal Ackermann of Team Jayco AlUla secured third place with the same time as Skerl.
General Classification After Stages One and Two
Jonathan Milan leads the overall classification with a total time of 3 hours, 36 minutes and 32 seconds, followed by Belgian Milan Fretin (Cofidis) at 4 seconds behind, and Italian Matteo Moschetti (Q36.5 Pro Cycling) in third, 6 seconds off the lead.
Stage three of the race will take place on Thursday, starting from Winter Park and finishing at Bir Jaidah and Jabal Warkah, over a distance of 142 kilometers.
