Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Respect for Iran’s Sovereignty

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call yesterday from Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the call, the Iranian president briefed the Crown Prince on the latest developments in Iran and outlined the Iranian government’s efforts in this regard, in addition to reviewing updates related to negotiations over the nuclear file.
For his part, the Crown Prince reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position on respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing that Saudi Arabia will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military actions against Iran, or for launching attacks by any party, regardless of their origin or direction.
His Royal Highness also emphasized the Kingdom’s support for all efforts aimed at resolving disputes through dialogue, in a manner that enhances security and stability in the region.
In turn, the Iranian president expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom for its firm stance on respecting Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and commended the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Crown Prince to promote security and stability in the region.
