AlUla Tour Kicks Off Sixth Edition with Elite Global Participation

The sixth edition of the AlUla Tour officially kicked off on Tuesday, hosted in the historic AlUla region, with the participation of 17 international teams, each comprising seven riders, for a total of 119 professional cyclists from the global elite.

The event is organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation, in cooperation with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.

The opening stage of the tour—classified within the global professional racing calendar—started and finished at the Camel Racing Track, covering a total distance of 158 kilometers, and witnessed intense competition across a course showcasing AlUla’s diverse terrain and stunning natural landscapes.

In terms of results, Italian rider Jonathan Milan of Lidl-Trek claimed first place with a time of 3 hours, 36 minutes, and 32 seconds. Belgian cyclist Milan Fretin of Cofidis secured second place, finishing 4 seconds behind, while Italian rider Matteo Moschetti of Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team took third place, 6 seconds off the lead.
