Earlier this month, the organizing committee announced during a press conference in Riyadh that the AlUla Tour has been officially upgraded to the UCI ProSeries (2.Pro) category, placing it among the world’s second-tier elite professional cycling races.
The race spans a total distance of approximately 800 kilometers. The opening stage will start and finish at the Camel Racing Track, covering 158 kilometers. The second stage, scheduled for Wednesday, will take place from Al-Manshiyah Railway Station over a distance of 152 kilometers.
The third stage on Thursday will see riders depart from the Winter Park toward Bir Jaydah – Jabal Wirkah, covering 142 kilometers, while the fourth stage on Friday will run from the Winter Park to the Hegra area, spanning 184 kilometers.
The tour will conclude on Saturday with the fifth and final stage, starting from AlUla Old Town and finishing at Harrat Uwayrid Viewpoint, over a distance of 164 kilometers.
Now in its sixth edition, the AlUla Tour reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing capacity to host major international sporting events and reinforces AlUla’s position as a global destination that blends elite sport with exceptional natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage, offering athletes and audiences alike a truly distinctive international experience.
