Minister of Islamic Affairs Reviews Development Projects at the King Fahd Qur’an Printing Complex

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and General Supervisor of the King Fahd Qur’an Printing Complex, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, visited today, Wednesday 25 Rajab 1447 AH, the King Fahd Qur’an Printing Complex in Madinah, accompanied by a number of ministry deputies and department directors, as part of ongoing oversight of the complex’s operations and its qualitative development initiatives in serving the Holy Qur’an.
During the visit, the Minister reviewed workflow across the complex’s various departments and its specialized efforts in printing the Holy Qur’an and translating its meanings into multiple languages, using advanced technologies and adhering to the highest standards of quality and precision, ensuring the Qur’an’s message reaches Muslims worldwide.
The Minister also held a meeting with complex officials to discuss a number of future projects aimed at enhancing production efficiency, developing digital services, and expanding electronic publishing and smart applications, in line with technological transformation and the needs of beneficiaries inside and outside the Kingdom.
In a press statement, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh affirmed that the Kingdom’s progress and development across sectors are achieved by the grace of God and the support and guidance of the wise leadership—may God protect them—which has placed the service of Islam and Muslims at the forefront of its priorities. This approach, he noted, has been reflected in the performance of government sectors, including the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, which has witnessed a qualitative transformation in its programs and initiatives domestically and internationally.
He explained that the Ministry plays a pivotal role in promoting moderation and balance, combating extremism and terrorism through sound religious and scholarly approaches, and caring for the Holy Qur’an through Qur’anic competitions, seminars, training courses, and scientific conferences. These efforts, he said, have contributed to strengthening the Kingdom’s global standing and reinforcing its image as a leading nation in serving authentic Islam based on a moderate methodology.
The Minister highlighted that the King Fahd Qur’an Printing Complex receives strong support from the leadership to fulfill its global mission, affirming that the Ministry operates in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by developing institutional work, engaging citizens in development, and serving the Holy Qur’an, while exerting all efforts to convey the Kingdom’s noble message of goodness, moderation, and peace to the world.
At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh expressed his pride in the achievements and professional standards he observed, emphasizing the Ministry’s continued support for all initiatives that enhance the complex’s operational framework and reinforce its leading global role in serving the Holy Qur’an, in alignment with Vision 2030.
