From Madinah… A Global Platform for Arabic Calligraphy

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region and Chairman of the Madinah Region Development Authority, attended on Monday evening the inauguration ceremony of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture.
Inaugural Tour
During the opening tour, HRH the Governor of Madinah, accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses and Excellencies, reviewed the center’s facilities, which include:
Specialized art exhibitions
Works and collections reflecting the civilizational value of Arabic calligraphy
Cultural content that has earned prestigious awards and notable achievements
A Cultural Message to the World
In his address during the ceremony, HRH the Minister of Culture emphasized that the inauguration of the center:

Reflects unlimited support for the cultural sector
Demonstrates the leadership’s deep commitment to Saudi cultural identity
He stated:
“From the land of light and knowledge, we inaugurate a global center for Arabic calligraphy as an authentic cultural value and a timeless means of civilizational communication.”
