Saudi Arabia to Host Italian Super Cup for the Sixth Time in Riyadh

Riyadh – BETH
The 38th edition of the Italian Super Cup will kick off on Thursday, December 18, 2025, as Saudi Arabia hosts the tournament for the sixth time, at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in the capital, Riyadh. The competition will run until December 22, under the organization and supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
This edition will feature four of Italy’s top football clubs: Napoli, AC Milan, Bologna, and Inter Milan, in decisive matchups bringing together the elite of Italian “Calcio.”
The tournament opens on Thursday with a highly anticipated clash between Napoli, the reigning Serie A champions, and AC Milan, who enter the match as defending Italian Super Cup holders after lifting the trophy in Riyadh earlier this year, setting the stage for a thrilling semifinal encounter.
The second semifinal will take place on Friday, December 19, as Bologna — Coppa Italia champions — make their first appearance in the competition under its new format, facing Inter Milan, runners-up in Serie A, in a battle for a place in the final scheduled for December 22, where the champion of the current edition will be crowned.
Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the Italian Super Cup for the sixth time underscores the Kingdom’s growing stature as a global hub for major sporting events, offering local and international fans the opportunity to experience European football in a world-class organizational setting that reflects the development of the sports sector and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
