Saudi Smart Grid Conference 2025 to Kick Off in Riyadh Next Monday

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Riyadh will host the 13th edition of the Saudi Smart Grid Conference 2025, under the theme “Innovating Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” from December 15 to 17, with the participation of experts and specialists from 25 countries.
The three-day conference will feature 28 technical and dialogue sessions, presenting 225 scientific papers that explore global developments in smart grid technologies and the ongoing transformation of the electricity sector worldwide.
The Ministry of Energy’s sponsorship of the conference—one of the leading international forums dedicated to the future of smart energy—reflects its continued efforts to support development and knowledge exchange across energy-related fields. This comes as the electricity sector undergoes a fundamental transformation in line with Saudi Vision 2030, through initiatives aimed at diversifying power generation sources, enhancing grid reliability and efficiency, and achieving an optimal energy mix.
