Crown Prince Inaugurates the Newly Developed Facilities of King Salman Air Base to

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – inaugurated today in Riyadh the newly developed facilities of King Salman Air Base in the central sector. The inauguration comes as part of strategic development projects aimed at strengthening the operational readiness and combat capabilities of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).
High-Level Reception
Upon his arrival at the base, His Royal Highness was received by:

The Royal Anthem was played, after which His Royal Highness officially inaugurated the facilities. A commemorative photo was also taken with the project’s senior officers.
Comprehensive Field Tour
His Royal Highness toured several sections of the newly developed base, including:
Technical zone
Administrative and residential areas
Training facilities
Modern infrastructure and support services
He received a detailed briefing on the engineering and technical aspects of the project, which was implemented according to the highest global military infrastructure standards. The facilities are designed to strengthen combat readiness through enhanced planning, command and control, logistics, and joint operations capabilities.
Commander’s Speech
The Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force delivered a speech expressing deep gratitude to the Crown Prince for his continuous support of the RSAF.
He affirmed that the opening of the new facilities marks a strategic extension of the comprehensive modernization plans pursued by the Air Force, enhancing its advanced air systems, state-of-the-art combat capabilities, and highly trained national personnel in line with the transformational goals of the Ministry of Defense.

A documentary film was presented showcasing the project timeline:

115 buildings with a total area exceeding 126,000 m²

Technical, administrative, residential, and security facilities, along with integrated support services
Closing Ceremony
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness received a commemorative gift from the Commander of the RSAF, followed by a group photo with base officers.
The Royal Anthem was played once more, and His Royal Highness departed the venue amid warm greetings and appreciation.
