Saudi–European Investment Partnership: The Erasmus–Atqan Alliance

In a strategic move that reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing economic transformation, Erasmus Middle East Investment has signed a major partnership agreement with Atqan Holding to launch a series of specialized companies under the umbrella of “Erasmus Holding” in Saudi Arabia. The new group will focus on sectors including sports, tourism, culture, education, green energy, and technology.

The agreement was signed during an official ceremony held at the headquarters of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce in Riyadh, supported by H.E. Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi, President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The event was attended by Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Atheeshan, Chairman of Al-Atheeshan Holding Group and Chairman of the Saudi–Slovak Business Council, along with a distinguished group of Saudi business leaders and experts.

From the European side, the ceremony saw the participation of the Director of the European Commission Office in the Basilicata region of Italy, representatives of the European Industries Union, the Italian–Saudi Business Alliance (SABINA), the Nordic–European Investment Network, and several Italian and Slovak business leaders associated with the targeted sectors.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Chairman of Erasmus Middle East Investment, and Ms. Lina Al-Qahtani, Chairwoman of Atqan Holding and the strategic partner in the joint economic structure. The partnership represents a significant step toward enhancing collaboration among the private, governmental, and non-profit sectors to develop promising economic projects aligned with the key objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Partenariato d’Investimento Saudita–Europeo: L’Alleanza Erasmus–Atqan

In una mossa strategica che riflette il percorso di trasformazione economica del Regno, Erasmus Middle East Investment ha firmato un accordo di partenariato con Atqan Holding per lanciare una serie di società specializzate sotto il nome di “Erasmus Holding” in Arabia Saudita. Il gruppo opererà in settori quali sport, turismo, cultura, istruzione, energia verde, tecnologia e innovazione.

La firma dell’accordo è avvenuta durante una cerimonia ufficiale presso la sede della Federazione delle Camere di Commercio Saudite a Riyadh, con il supporto di S.E. Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi, Presidente della Federazione. All’evento hanno partecipato lo sceicco Abdulrahman Al-Atheeshan, Presidente del Gruppo Al-Atheeshan e Presidente del Consiglio Imprenditoriale Saudita–Slovacco, insieme a una selezione di imprenditori ed esperti sauditi.

Dal lato europeo, erano presenti il Direttore dell’Ufficio della Commissione Europea nella regione Basilicata (Italia), rappresentanti dell’Unione delle Industrie Europee, dell’Alleanza Italo–Saudita per gli Affari (SABINA), della Rete Nordico–Europea per gli Investimenti, oltre a numerosi imprenditori italiani e slovacchi attivi nei settori interessati.

L’accordo è stato firmato dal Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Presidente di Erasmus Middle East Investment, e dalla Dott.ssa Lina Al-Qahtani, Presidente di Atqan Holding e partner strategico nella struttura economica congiunta. Il partenariato rappresenta un passo significativo per rafforzare la cooperazione tra i settori privato, pubblico e non profit nello sviluppo di progetti economici promettenti in linea con gli obiettivi chiave della Visione Saudita 2030.
