International Sports Partnerships in Riyadh

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, signed on Thursday, November 6, 2025, a number of Memorandums of Understanding and executive programs during his meeting with the heads of delegations participating in the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, hosted by the capital Riyadh from November 7 to 21, 2025.
The agreements included an MoU with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in Brunei Darussalam, and another with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Federal Republic of Somalia, aimed at enhancing cooperation in youth activities, youth exchange programs, and joint sports collaboration, in addition to exchanging information and expertise through participation in national, regional, and international conferences and forums.
The meeting also witnessed the signing of several executive programs in the fields of youth and sports for the years 2026–2027, including an executive program with the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs in the Republic of Tajikistan, and another with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Additionally, the Undersecretary for Youth and Sports Affairs, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Massad, signed the executive program with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Republic of Iraq for the years 2026–2027.
These agreements reflect the Ministry of Sports’ efforts to strengthen international cooperation and expand bilateral partnerships in the youth and sports sectors, contributing to the development of joint programs and initiatives with several brotherly countries.
