When Charlatans and Swine Lead Minds… Nations Fall Behind
✍️ By Abdullah Al-Omirah
In an age where the world advances through science, reason, and knowledge, there are still those among us who believe that superstition is the path to salvation, and that ignorance can restore lost glory.
It is astonishing that some Arabs — whose ancestors once carried the torches of enlightenment — now willingly hand over the keys of their minds to pretenders of knowledge and magicians of thought, as if surrendering their future by choice.
Whoever observes what is happening in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia realizes that this land does not merely race against time — it leads it.
Today, it stands as a unique model of planning, intellect, and development — a transformation from the cradle of revelation into a platform of modern civilization.
It harmonizes authenticity with vision, rooted in a heritage as deep as human history itself, and builds the future with the intellect of the world and the wisdom of humanity.
This transformation is not new; it is a continuation of the ancient legacy of the Arabian Peninsula —
a land that once illuminated the world with knowledge, not superstition; with reason, not blind obedience.
From these sands — which once bore caravans carrying books and ideas — the greatest civilizations emerged, and from them the world’s most profound schools of thought were born.
Yet today, there are those who seek to drag Arabs backward — into ages of darkness where thinking is replaced by applause, reason by reverence, and light by smoke.
They come cloaked in the garments of preaching or piety, but within them lies a project of destruction, not creation.
They hide behind rituals while planting ignorance under sacred names — until people awaken to find themselves trapped in a pit from which only awareness can free them.
Awareness is the first line of defense.
Not merely against enemies, but against the ignorance that seeps among us disguised as advice.
Allowing fools to lead a nation is like handing a blind man the controls of an aircraft — he will not fall alone; he will take everyone down with him.
So we say to all Arabs:
Do not let your minds be led by rotten ropes, nor let fear be planted in you under the name of religion or heritage.
Guard your intellects with knowledge, adorn them with ethics, and fill them with the light of thought before anyone plants in them the darkness of deceit, sorcery, or superstition.
Today, Saudi Arabia is being built not merely of stone and steel — but by minds that know how to balance authenticity with progress.
Whoever contemplates its civilizational project sees the return of awareness to its birthplace — the land that carried the first message to the world.
Time has changed, and its course now restores truth to its rightful place.
From this land — whose historical depth is the fuel of renewal — a new civilization is being born:
One with no place for charlatans, and no seat for ignorance.
🟢 Flash of Thought:
When minds light their own path, they need not fear the darkness of deceivers.
Ignorance survives only in the absence of thought — and free thought is the miracle that never fades.
✴️ Epilogue — From the Memory of History to the Awareness of the Present
When the swine wandered lost in the deserts of Sinai searching for survival,
the Canaanite Arabs had already departed from the Arabian Peninsula over 3,000 years earlier,
settling in the land known today as Palestine —
where they built a civilization that spread across two hundred cities more than five thousand years ago,
known to history as the Kingdom of Canaan, long before the false narratives that came after.
Since that early civilizational presence in northern Arabia,
the Arabs illuminated the paths of humanity and carried to the world the meanings of dignity, freedom, and knowledge.
Yet strangely, some minds today long to return to the age of wandering —
following those who believe darkness is thought and ignorance is sanctity.
Islam saved nations once drowned in the servitude of ignorance,
and the Arabs carried knowledge and light more than 1,400 years ago —
not on ships of war, but on the backs of camels and horses — not to boast,
but to free humanity from idolatry and superstition.
They lifted others from the humiliation of ignorance and gave them value through enlightenment and civilization.
Today, however, some wish to bring minds back into a new kind of slavery —
one that strips women of their dignity, paints depravity with the colors of modernity,
and replaces light with filth, and intellect with a coffin.
Beware — beware of the new sorcerers who sow doubt in minds,
and disguise their hatred of humanity under the masks of freedom.
They wish Arabs to forget their essence — the one that illuminated the world with science and morality.
🌿 Final Reflection:
He who does not know his history will be led to a future that does not resemble him.
Nations that surrender their minds grant charlatans and the remnants of swine the keys to their destiny.
But true Arabs know that dignity is never sold… and the mind is never for rent.
