The Saudi capital Riyadh lit up on Friday evening with the grand opening of Riyadh Season 2025, in a spectacular celebration blending global entertainment and authentic Saudi culture, transforming the city into an open-air stage of joy and creativity under the season’s theme: “Big Time Starts Here.”

The grand opening parade began from “Kingdom Arena” and continued to “Boulevard World”, featuring international and local performance troupes, massive artistic floats, and giant balloons showcasing global icons making their first appearance in Saudi Arabia.
The parade created a breathtaking visual spectacle that reflected Riyadh’s growing reputation as a global destination for entertainment and culture.

The parade was organized in collaboration with Macy’s, the world-renowned organizer of New York’s annual parade, which presented its signature giant balloons for the first time outside the United States — adding a new international dimension to the Riyadh experience.

Riyadh Season 2025 aims to deliver unprecedented entertainment and cultural experiences, including concerts, festivals, theatrical productions, fireworks, world-class dining, sports events, and interactive adventures — all within a joyful environment that celebrates Saudi heritage and global openness.
