The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that all visa holders — regardless of type — can now perform Umrah during their stay in the Kingdom.
This initiative comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to simplify procedures for pilgrims and expand the range of beneficiaries of the services provided within the Hajj and Umrah system, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Ministry clarified that the eligible visa categories include personal and family visit visas, e-tourism visas, transit (stopover) visas, work visas, and other types of entry permits.
This decision reflects the Kingdom’s continued commitment to facilitating the arrival of Muslims from all over the world and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease, comfort, and peace of mind.
“Nusuk Umrah”… A Seamless Digital Experience
The Ministry further explained that it has recently launched the “Nusuk Umrah” platform, designed to allow pilgrims to book Umrah packages, issue electronic permits, and manage their schedules through a seamless digital experience that provides flexibility and convenience.
Comprehensive Care for Pilgrims
The Ministry emphasized that these facilitation measures reflect the Kingdom’s dedication — under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince — to enable Muslims to visit the Two Holy Mosques and perform their rituals in a safe, spiritual environment, while providing the highest quality of services to enrich the experience of pilgrims and enhance their spiritual journey.
