His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister, chaired today’s session of the Cabinet in Riyadh.
Royal Congratulations and Address
The Cabinet extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God protect him – on the opening of the second year of the ninth Shura Council session, praising the royal speech which outlined the Kingdom’s solid foundations, achievements, and aspirations toward national progress and regional stability.
Position on the Attack Against Qatar
The Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on his participation in the extraordinary GCC Summit and the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, emphasizing the support expressed by member states for Qatar in facing the recent aggression.
The Cabinet reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s full solidarity with Qatar and strongly condemned Israeli attacks in the region.
The Palestinian Cause
The Cabinet welcomed the UN General Assembly’s adoption of the “New York Declaration” on resolving the Palestinian issue, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France. It affirmed that the vote of 142 states reflects an international will to move forward with the two-state solution and establish an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Regional and International Stances
Sudan: Support for the joint statement by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, and the US on restoring peace and security.
Syria: Grant of 1.65 million barrels of crude oil to improve living conditions for the Syrian people.
Nuclear Energy: Reaffirmation of the Kingdom’s commitment to its national nuclear energy project in cooperation with the IAEA.
Financial Sector: Hosting of the “Money 20/20 Middle East” conference in Riyadh reflects Saudi Arabia’s role as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in financial markets.

Cooperation between King Fahd National Library and Indonesia’s National Library.
Combating drug trafficking and illicit substances with Nigeria.
Inspection and quarantine requirements for Saudi dairy exports to China.

Approval of the privatization plan for the Military Clothing and Equipment Factory.

Review of annual reports from the Ministries of Commerce and Education, the Makkah Region Development Authority, the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, the Saudi Space Agency, and the National Competitiveness Center.
