The start of the 33rd International Virtual Conference of Muslims in Latin America and the Caribbean
Broadcast: Today, the activities of the 33rd "virtual" international conference for Muslims in Latin America and the Caribbean began, organized by the Islamic Call Center in the Republic of Brazil, in cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Advocacy and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and will continue for a period of two days .. as it deals with the issue of jurisprudential rulings of Muslim minorities Related to the Corona pandemic, with the participation of a number of scientists, academics and science students from "35" countries, and highlights the necessary jurisprudence provisions related to the pandemic.
At the opening of the conference, His Excellency Islamic Affairs, Advocacy and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abd Al-Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh delivered the Kingdom's speech at the conference, welcoming - at its beginning - the delegations participating in the conference, extending his thanks and appreciation to the government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for hosting it, which reflects the extent of its great interest in all minorities living On its land.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness, His Crown Prince, Secretary Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God preserve them - affirmed the care and concern for Muslims everywhere, especially in areas where an Islamic minority is formed, and this care was translated by the Ministry’s sponsorship for this. His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Advocacy and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abd Al-Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh concluded his speech by stressing that Islamic law is valid for every time and place, praying to God Almighty to bless the efforts of the faithful, and to protect our country and the countries of the worlds from epidemics and diseases .. in advance thanking all those in charge of this Conference.
After that, the President of the Conference delivered the Director of the Center for Islamic Call in Latin America and the Caribbean in the Republic of Brazil, noting the generous and continuous support from the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the work of the conference throughout the course of forty years.
