🌐 Saudi Domain (.sa): A Digital Identity
Riyadh – BETH | August 27, 2025
The Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) has announced the release of the Guideline for Transitioning to the Saudi Domain (.sa). The guide aims to provide government and private entities in the Kingdom with technical instructions to benefit from the advantages of the national domain, strengthen their digital presence with a Saudi identity, and enhance the reliability and trustworthiness of their digital services.
The guideline outlines key options and practical steps for transitioning services to the Saudi domain, such as official websites and email systems, following best practices and technical recommendations. The transition may be implemented fully, partially, or in parallel with other domains currently in use.
CST emphasized that this initiative reflects its role in empowering the Kingdom’s digital and ICT ecosystem through regulatory and advisory tools that enable all national entities to deliver services in a reliable and trustworthy digital environment. The Saudi domain (.sa) stands out as one of the most prominent national digital resources.
