The Eastern Province Municipality has unveiled a massive investment project titled “Global City”, spanning over 600,000 square meters and expected to reach a total investment of SAR 650 million upon completion. The project, developed in partnership with a Thai investor, is set to become one of the most prominent cultural, touristic, and entertainment destinations in Saudi Arabia, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to enhance quality of life.

🔹 A Multicultural, Immersive Experience
The city will feature 16 national pavilions, each showcasing a country’s culture and traditions through authentic cuisine and immersive experiences—offering visitors a rich global journey in a single destination.

🔹 Artificial Lake, Floating Market, and 10,000-Seat Amphitheater
The project will be centered around a striking artificial lake, complete with a floating market and a grand open-air theater with 7,000 seats, expandable to 10,000, designed to host major international events.

🔹 Family Entertainment Zone, Ice Rink, and Global Dining
Spanning over 17,000 square meters, the development will include a family-friendly amusement park, a large open-air ice-skating rink, and a variety of international restaurants and activities tailored for all ages.

🔹 A Regional Tourism and Economic Catalyst
According to Municipal Spokesman Faisal Al-Zahrani, the project is more than just an entertainment venue—it’s a cultural and economic hub that will reshape Dammam’s tourism landscape. With its strategic proximity to the Gulf, Global City is positioned to attract both local and international visitors.
