Saudi Arabia and Kiribati Sign Air Transport Agreement

His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, signed an air transport services agreement with the Government of the Republic of Kiribati, represented by the Minister of Information, Communications, and Transport, Alexander Teabo, in the presence of GACA President Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej.

The signing took place during the High-Level Aviation Week held in Singapore from 13 to 18 July 2025.

🤝 Strengthening Bilateral Aviation Cooperation

The agreement aims to:

Enhance bilateral cooperation in air transport services

Regulate air traffic between both countries

Establish a framework based on mutual benefit and respect, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in both nations

This agreement aligns with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Civil Aviation Sector Strategy, which seeks to:

Forge international aviation partnerships

Expand the Kingdom’s global air connectivity
