Saudi non-oil exports rise 7.4% %

The Saudi General Authority for Statistics explained today that the value of non-petroleum exports "including re-export" during August 2024 amounted to 27.5 billion riyals, compared to 25.6 billion riyals during August 2023, an increase of 1.9 billion riyals, by 7.4%, according to the results of the international trade bulletin for the month of August 2024.
According to the results of the Bulletin, the value of petroleum exports during August 2024 amounted to 65.3 billion riyals, compared to 77.3 billion during August 2023, a decrease of 12.0 billion riyals, by 15.5%.
The results of the Bulletin showed a decrease in commodity exports during August 2024, reaching 92.8 billion riyals, compared to 102.9 billion riyals during August 2023, a decrease of 10.1 billion riyals, by 9.8%.
While the value of the kingdom's commodity imports during August 2024 amounted to 64.8 billion riyals, compared to 67.4 billion riyals during August 2023, a decrease of 2.6 billion riyals, by 3.9%.
