Signing an agreement to establish a regional office for the Union of Arab Banks in Riyadh
Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Muhammad Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Arab Banks, signed at the Ministry’s office in Riyadh on Thursday a headquarters agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Union of Arab Banks, to establish a regional office in the Kingdom, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Affairs Abdul-Mohsen Al-Faris, the Minister of Foreign Affairs’s Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs in charge of Protocol Affairs, Abdul-Mohsen Al-Faris, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Arab Banks, and the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks in Lebanon, Wissam Fattouh.
On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, expressed his wishes for success to the Union of Arab Banks in supporting ties and strengthening cooperation bonds between Arab banks to achieve their common interests and in the interest of joint Arab economic work.
The office will be based at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.
