"GE Saudi advanced turbines" launches the first gas turbine unit

GE Saudi advanced turbines company launched its first gas turbine unit "H-Class", in the presence of Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. An official ceremony was held at the company's facility in Dammam on Monday.


GE Saudi advanced turbines is a joint venture between the Saudi Arabian Industrial Investment Company "Dussur" and General Electric - listed on the New York Stock Exchange - to manufacture high-performance gas turbines and their components in Saudi Arabia, in order to meet the growing demand for electric energy in the country.

The partnership, which began in June 2017, aims to meet most of the kingdom's annual gas turbine demand.
