The Ministry of Culture organized the international ballet show “The Nutcracker” in the Culture Square on the front of Riyadh, which is one of the most famous performances around the world, which was held from 25 to 27 March as part of a number of musical and show activities and events held by the Ministry.

“The Nutcracker” is considered one of the most beloved classical musical works in world theaters, since it was composed in 1892 AD, and has been accepted by audiences since its first show in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The show begins with the “small opening” musical piece, where the story begins with the party held at the home of the child’s father, Clara, who takes the role of the hero during this show, while family friend Dore Selmayr presents magical games that attracted the audience, and then the course of events begins between Magical moments and great orchestral music is the largest of its kind; Until Clara discovers that her adventures and stories were a dream.

The “The Nutcracker” ballet witnessed the audience’s interaction with distinctive dances and audio-visual effects, as it suited all age groups, between adults and children, who expressed their admiration through their interaction with the show.
