22 international drivers participate in the sixth edition of the Diriyah e-PRI Formula E race 2024

22 elite Formula E drivers representing 11 global teams are preparing to participate in the upcoming event "Diriyah e-PRI Formula E race 2024", which will be held through the second and third rounds within the calendar of the ebb Formula E World Championship, which is hosted by Diriyah for the sixth consecutive year on January 26 and 27.
The race is back again to prepare the fans with strong competitions combining speed and skill in two night races throughout the historic area registered by the UNESCO World Heritage site, where the list of participating names included a group of the most famous drivers, led by the driver of the Andretti global team and last year's world champion, British "Jake Dennis", who took second place in both rounds of the Diriyah EPRI 2023 race, in addition to 6 former World Championship title holders.
German Pascal Wehrlein, who won the two Diriyah races last season, returns to participate alongside his TAG Heuer-Porsche teammate, Portuguese Antonio Felix da Costa, the 2019/2020 world champion, who won the first race in Diriyah in the 2018/2019 edition.
Da Costa is one of the six former world champions participating in the race, along with the Swiss "Sebastian Buemi", the Brazilian "Lucas di Grassi", the Dutch "Nick de Vries", the Belgian "Stoffel van Doorn" and the French "Jean-Eric Verne", who won the title twice. In addition to the participation of New Zealander "Nick Cassidy", the runner-up of the world championship last season, as part of the Jaguar TCS team, along with his compatriot "Mitch Evans", who won the third place in the 2022/2023 edition.
The race will be joined by the holders of the British Formula E armor racing title "Sam Bird" and Swiss "Eduardo Mortara" along with the Indian "Jehan Daruvala", who made his debut with the Maserati MSG team, and former winners of Formula E German "Maximilian Gunther", French "Norman Nato", British "Oliver Rowland" and Dutch "Robin Frenz".
