Riyadh-Minister of industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-khorayef said that a group of 35 new renewable energy projects are scheduled to be launched during 2024.
He added in a statement to Al Sharq TV, on the sidelines of the annual ceremony of the nadlib program, that 2024 will witness a large number of projects implementation and will be the year of implementation and consolidation of investments.
He explained that the ministry is interested in attracting investments, pointing out that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become an important station in all the different investments, indicating that the energy sector has become a competitive sector and capable of attracting large investments.
He revealed that geological surveys in the mining sector are continuing, and new mining sites are being proposed, while in the industrial field, work is underway to open new sectors and enable sectors such as the automotive industry and make it an integrated sector, in addition to the hardware and equipment sectors, the renewable energy components industry and the pharmaceutical industry.
He pointed out that there are no obstacles in providing the necessary funds for the implementation of projects, but some projects have become attractive to the private sector, such as infrastructure projects, industrial cities and prefabricated factories, so the investments made by the state in the past years will attract private sector investments in the coming years.
