The royal commission for Riyadh city announced the completion of all stages of the Riyadh bus project within the King Abdul Aziz public transport project in Riyadh.

With the completion of the main network, the total number of routes reaches 54 routes served by 679 buses, and through 2145 stations and stops.

The King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project in Riyadh includes the implementation of an integrated network of trains and buses, and the project aims to operate an advanced public transport network according to the latest technologies through 87 routes of “Riyadh buses”, of which 54 routes form the main network of ” Riyadh buses”, in addition to 33 feeder routes for ” Riyadh train” and with stations and parking points exceeding more than 2,900 stations and stops to serve passengers through more than 800 buses, stretching a length of 1900 km, as well as 6 tracks for ” Riyadh train ” there are 84 train stations spread across the capital's neighborhoods, serving as the main means of transportation for passengers across the city.
