The Saudi Council of ministers approves the general budget

Riyadh-the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired the meeting held by the Council of ministers, on Tuesday, the 22nd of the first Jumada 1445 AH, corresponding to December 06, 2023 ad, in Riyadh, to approve the state's general budget for the new fiscal year 1445/1446 Ah (2024).
The Council of Ministers reviewed the items of the state's general budget for the fiscal year 1445/1446 Ah (2024), and issued its decision on them, including the following:
1-revenues are estimated at (1.172.000.000.000) one thousand one hundred and seventy-two billion riyals.
2-the expenses shall be approved in the amount of (1,251,000,000,000) one thousand two hundred and fifty-one billion riyals.
3-the deficit is estimated at (79,000,000,000) seventy-nine billion riyals.
The custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah protect him, has directed the ministers and officials, both with regard to his active commitment in the implementation of the development and social programs and projects included in the budget.
