The provision of this quality service to investors from abroad is part of the kingdom's efforts to achieve the aspirations of the investment sectors in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at attracting more segments of investors around the world, to improve the investment environment and facilitate the start of doing business with a focus on attracting major qualitative investments due to its effective role in moving the wheel of the economy.

The undersecretary of the Ministry of investment for integrated Investor Services, Mohammed Abu Hussein, explained that the business visit visa "visiting investor" is a visa designed to provide the opportunity for foreign investors and employees of foreign enterprises to apply for an electronic visit visa through the platform of the Ministry of investment "invest in Saudi Arabia", through which the application is processed and the visa is issued digitally from the unified national visa platform of the Ministry of foreign affairs, without the need to check the representations of the Kingdom abroad Visit the Kingdom and see investment opportunities.

He pointed out that this quality service comes as a result of concerted efforts and joint cooperation with the Ministry of foreign affairs in order to provide appropriate value-added services to investors.

For his part, the undersecretary of the Ministry of foreign affairs for Consular Affairs, Ambassador Ali bin Abdulrahman al-Yousef, said that the ministry's launch of this service comes within a package of development projects for consular services, in order to achieve the goals of the kingdom's Vision 2030, including increasing the number of visitors by issuing visit visas for all its purposes electronically (e-visa) through the electronic visa platform of the Ministry of foreign affairs, including the "business visit" visa, which is granted to investors and businessmen from all countries of the world.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of investment, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has expanded the category of beneficiaries of instant e-visa to include the following: The countries announced on the platform of the Ministry of investment "invest in Saudi Arabia", holders of a" valid "tourist or business visa from the USA, the UK or one of the Schengen Agreement countries and have been used at least once to enter the countries available for visa, holders of permanent residence in the USA, the UK or the EU countries, holders of a" valid " residence for at least three months in the GCC countries, licensed by the Ministry of investment with 3 instant visas per year for each facility.
