His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, prime minister and chairman of the Public Investment Fund, announced the launch of Ardara company with the aim of developing the "Abha Valley" project in Asir region, the first of the company's projects, to be an urban center and an attractive tourist destination for visitors locally and internationally in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The "Wadi" project, which covers an area of 2.5 million square meters, will incorporate the architectural and architectural character inspired by the heritage of the Asir region and its ancient history.the project will take into account sustainability standards and raise the quality of life by providing more than 30% of the project area as green open spaces, 16 km of water destinations extending across the project, and 17 km of sports tracks, cultural and community activities.
The company will work on developing five main areas in a unique way, where the first phase will include housing, hospitality and entertainment options over the next three years, including 2,000 residential options ranging from high-end and modern apartments and villas, in addition to luxury hotels, commercial spaces, and business areas designed to the highest standards commensurate with its identity and historical legacy.
The company aims to provide many opportunities for local and international investors in many sectors including hospitality, arts, culture, food and agriculture, retail, and entertainment, contributing to building partnerships with the private sector.
The launch of "Ardara" company comes in line with the strategy of the public investment fund aimed at unlocking the capabilities of promising sectors in the kingdom, including the tourism and entertainment sector, and enhancing the kingdom's efforts in diversifying sources of income.
The project will contribute to supporting the non - oil domestic product by more than 19 billion Saudi riyals until 2030, and creating thousands of jobs for the people of the region and its residents by 2030, in addition to being in line with the goals of the Asir region strategy "summits and Shim", announced by His Highness The Crown Prince-may God protect him-in 2021.
