Yemeni President receives Prince Khalid bin Salman
Riyadh - President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic of Yemen, received, at his residence on Wednesday, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense.
During the meeting, they discussed developments in the situation in Yemen, steps to implement the Riyadh Agreement, the efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, to reach a comprehensive political solution according to the three references, and the efforts of the political, military, security, relief and development alliance for Yemen to restore its institutions, security and stability.
The meeting was attended by the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, Muhammad bin Saeed Al Jaber, and the Director General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
Prince Khalid bin Sultan tweeted on his Twitter account, saying:
“met with His Excellency President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic of Yemen, and during the meeting we discussed developments in Yemen, and I assured his Excellency the Kingdom’s leadership’s keenness to achieve stability, security and development for the brotherly Yemeni people, and to move forward to implement the Riyadh Agreement to promote peace and stability and put the interest of Yemenis above all considerations”.
