A celebration of the occasion was held in the presence of the ambassador of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the people's Republic of China Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi and the CEO of Beijing Daxing International Airport, just before the departure of the inaugural flight from Beijing to the kingdom.
Saudi minister of transport and logistics Saleh Al-Jasser, commented on his account at X / Twitter :
Raising the air traffic rate between the Kingdom and China will contribute to enhancing economic and tourist mobility between the two countries, expanding opportunities for joint cooperation in development and service projects, in accordance with the objectives of the national strategy for Transport and logistics, to consolidate the kingdom's position as a global logistics center.

The Director General of the General Organization of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Ibrahim Al-Omar, also commented with a tweet on his account at X / Twitter:
"The launch of Saudi Airlines direct flights between the Kingdom and Beijing, the capital of the people's Republic of China, is of great importance, as it will contribute, God willing, to serving the financial, business, tourism and education sectors, while the national carrier will continue to achieve one of the goals of the Saudi Vision ٢٠٣٠ by bringing the world to the kingdom," he said.
