Saudi Arabia displays the file "Riyadh Expo 2030".. Allocation of 7.8 billion dollars for hosting
The kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday presented its file "Riyadh Expo 2030" in front of the International Bureau of exhibitions in Paris.
Engineer Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Sultan, CEO of the royal commission of Riyadh, said:"by 2028, all preparations for hosting Expo 2030 will be ready, and we plan to host more than 120 million visitors in 2030".
In his speech, Minister of investment Engineer Khalid al-Falih said that hosting the expo fits into the limitless investment environment in Saudi Arabia.
About the budget allocated to host the event, al-Falih said that it amounts to 7.8 billion dollars.
"The Expo site will be a global forum for companies to search for opportunities in the Kingdom, and we will provide our resources and capabilities to make the global investment Laboratory a success,"he said.
Al-Falih pointed out that the private sector will be given a lot of space in the organization of Expo Riyadh 2030.
For her part, the ambassador of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, Princess Reema bint Bandar, said that Saudi Arabia is committed to organizing the best version of the Expo Conference throughout its history, and that Riyadh is an exceptional global tourist destination, and will be ready to host Expo 2030
She explained that a special visa will be provided to attend the Riyadh Expo 2030, which will focus on communication and inclusiveness with all cultures.
