RIYADH - The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and the Embassy of the State of South Africa in the Kingdom, will hold a virtual workshop entitled "Explore the future of the mining sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" tomorrow, Thursday, April 21, in order to introduce its participation in the African Mining Conference "Indaba" INDABA, which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 12-19 May.
During the workshop, the ministry will review a number of investment opportunities that will be announced in conjunction with the participation in the "Indaba" conference to explore many minerals such as: copper, zinc, gold, silver and lead, with investment opportunities amounting to 4 billion riyals, in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to transform the Kingdom into a power Leading industrial and global logistics platform, increasing the contribution of the mining sector to the economy.
It is noteworthy that the ministry is participating in the "Indaba" conference, to review the abundant and qualitative investment opportunities in the mining sector in the Kingdom, and to review the Kingdom's clear and highly transparent regulations and legislation, which aim to contribute to attracting investments and guaranteeing the rights of all parties.
