Formula 1 trials kick off at Jeddah Corniche Circuit
JEDDAH - The Formula 1 test sessions started yesterday, Friday, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which precedes the second round of the Formula 1 STC Saudi Grand Prix, which will be held from 25-27 March.
The results of the first test saw Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s driver, take the lead, followed by Dutch world champion Max Verstappen, Red Bull Racing’s driver, in second place, while Valtteri Bottas, Alfa Romeo’s driver, came third. The rest of the results of the first trial session were as follows:

6- Yuki Tsunoda - Team Alpha Tauri.
7- Sergio Perez - Ferrari Team.

In the second session, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc maintained the lead again, after setting the fastest time in the second practice, while Dutchman Verstappen in Red Bull came second, and Carlos Sainz in Ferrari came third, while the rest of the results of the session came The second is as follows:

While the Formula 1 competitions will continue on Saturday, represented by the final qualifying tests, after the end of the free trials for the drivers, where the first test will start tomorrow at five in the evening, and will last only one hour, followed by the qualifying round at eight in the evening and for one hour as well, and it will determine the final form of the main event. On Sunday, the drivers will be ranked according to the fastest time.
