Saudi Arabia.. The volume of investments in the industrial sector reached 1.339 trillion riyals

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced in the "Monthly Bulletin of Industry and Mining" for the month of January 2022, that the total volume of investments in the industrial sector amounted to 1.339 trillion riyals after adding 1.8 billion riyals in January 2022 AD, according to figures issued by the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information.
The report revealed the start of production in 106 new factories during the month of January, with investments of approximately 1.6 billion riyals, in addition to the number of new licenses for the same month, with a total of 79 new industrial licenses.
The monthly bulletin included mining indicators, as the number of valid licenses in the sector reached 1,989, of which 67 licenses were issued during January of this year, varying between building materials quarrying licenses, which amounted to 63 licenses, exploration licenses with 3 licenses, and reconnaissance licenses and others.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issues the "Monthly Bulletin for Industry and Mining"; To shed light on the most important industrial and mining figures and indicators, and to enhance transparency in the two sectors, to emphasize the diversity of opportunities offered by the industrial and mining sectors in the Kingdom, in order to achieve the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by transforming the Kingdom into a leading industrial power and platform Global logistics, and mining to be the third pillar of the national industry.
