Aroya Cruises Sets Sail for the Mediterranean

Aroya Cruises, the first Arab cruise line and a subsidiary of Cruise Saudi, fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced the deployment of its cruise ship “Aroya” to the Mediterranean Sea, marking the beginning of its new summer season starting June 28, 2025.

🛳️ The journeys will begin from Galataport Istanbul on June 20, following stopovers in the Turkish coastal cities of Kaş and Bodrum, with Istanbul serving as the primary port for the season.

💫 From late June until mid-September, Aroya will sail across the Eastern Mediterranean on itineraries ranging from 6 to 7 nights, visiting key destinations such as:

Kaş, Bodrum, and Marmaris (Turkey)

Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes, and Souda Bay (Greece)

Alexandria (Egypt)

⚓ Guests aboard “Aroya” will enjoy authentic experiences inspired by Arab heritage, aligning with the broader vision to elevate Saudi Arabia’s position in global marine tourism.

🌊 This expansion into the Mediterranean follows the success of Aroya’s inaugural Red Sea season, launched in December 2024, which welcomed over 70,000 guests on voyages that included stops in Egypt, Jordan, and Saba Beach on Jabal Al-Sabaya Island.
