"NEOM" announces the completion of the casting of 1000 bases of 30 thousand for the foundations of "the line"  

 # NEOM announced the completion of the casting of the basic bases of construction in the city of #the_line, where the casting of about 1000 bases out of more than 30 thousand bases for foundations in the project has been completed.

NEOM announced the establishment of a factory complex for mixing and producing ready-mixed green concrete at a cost of up to 700 million riyals, to support construction operations in" the line", the cognitive city being developed in NEOM, under a partnership agreement signed with the leading company" ASAS Al-muhaelib " in the construction and engineering sector.

The complex starts operations next month and will be fully operational in 2025

Under the agreement, "ASAS Al-muhaylib" will take over the operation of the plants after their full completion, which will have a production capacity of more than 20 thousand cubic meters of ready-mixed green concrete per day.

The new complex is scheduled to start operations next month, supported by a fleet of equipment and vehicles, and will be fully operational in 2025, while it is expected to create more than 500 new local jobs.

The state-of-the-Art Concrete Plant Complex will adopt the best sustainability solutions, including the use of carbon capture and utilization technology (CCU)and energy-saving solutions, while most of the quantities produced will be used in the construction of "the line", as concrete is an essential material for the creation of infrastructure and basic facilities in the project.

The opening of the complex comes at a time when construction work on "the line" is progressing at an accelerated pace, the Basic Rules of construction have been poured.

NEOM's CEO, Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr, promised the construction of the concrete factories complex, an achievement added to a series of other achievements highlighting the continuous progress in NEOM projects, and confirming the status and leadership of the construction sector in the Kingdom, and the pivotal role played by local partnerships in the implementation of this exceptional sustainable project with high efficiency.
