Saudi Arabia’s capital is entering a new phase of urban and entertainment transformation, marked by the launch of Qiddiya’s first entertainment destinations and the opening of Amaala, alongside accelerating development in Diriyah, the continued expansion of the Sports Boulevard, sustained investor momentum in Masar, and preparations at NEOM Port to receive the world’s largest cargo vessels.
Together, these milestones reflect Riyadh’s evolution into a globally integrated platform for economy, lifestyle, and experience.

At the heart of this transformation stands Qiddiya, the first city built on a vision where play and enjoyment are not complementary features, but the core philosophy—positioning it as a world-class destination welcoming visitors from across the globe.

A City Designed for Experience

Qiddiya’s master plan has been carefully designed to integrate seamlessly with its unique natural landscape southwest of Riyadh, spanning 376 square kilometers. The development presents a model that unites entertainment, sports, arts, and open human experience within a single, cohesive environment.

Qiddiya aims to become home to the region’s most innovative, thrilling, and diverse experiences, offering world-class destinations that redefine the concept of urban entertainment.

An Investment Project with a National Vision

The project is being developed by Qiddiya Investment Company, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), since its establishment in 2018. As one of PIF’s giga-projects, Qiddiya supports national objectives to enhance quality of life and strengthen Riyadh’s position among the world’s top ten urban economies.

Key features of the project include:

Six Flags Qiddiya, featuring the world’s tallest, fastest, and highest roller coaster.

The development of the largest water park in the region, and the first of its kind in the Kingdom, awarded under a contract valued at SAR 2.8 billion in 2022.
