أعلنت وزارة السياحة السعودية عن تسهيلات جديدة لتمكين حاملي تأشيرات الزيارة إلى المملكة المتحدة والولايات المتحدة وتأشيرة شنغن وأصحاب الإقامة الدائمة في إحدى دول الاتحاد الأوروبي أو المملكة المتحدة أو الولايات المتحدة، الذين يرغبون في زيارة السعودية، من الحصول على تأشيرة إلكترونية فورية من خلال موقع وزارة الخارجية.
وكانت لائحة التأشيرات المعدلة قد منحت استثناءً للحاصلين على تأشيرة سياحية أو تجارية سارية المفعول من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، أو المملكة المتحدة، أو إحدى دول اتفاقية شنغن، على أن يكون قد تم تفعيلها، وذلك بالدخول للدولة المانحة للتأشيرة لمرة واحدة على الأقل.
ويدخل في هذا الاستثناء أقارب حامل التأشيرة من الدرجة الأولى للقادمين برفقته، إضافة إلى الحاصلين على إقامة دائمة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، أو دول الاتحاد الأوروبي، أو في المملكة المتحدة، بما في ذلك أقارب حامل الإقامة من الدرجة الأولى للقادمين برفقته، وذلك من خلال التأشيرة عند الوصول إلى أيٍ من منافذ المملكة البرية أو البحرية أو الجوية.
وأكدت لائحة التأشيرة السياحية المعدلة على السياح في أثناء وجودهم في المملكة الامتثال للأنظمة والتعليمات المتبعة، بما في ذلك حمل الوثائق الثبوتية للهوية في كل الأوقات، لافتة الأنتباه إلى أن التأشيرة السياحية لا تتيح أداء فريضة الحج، كما أنها لا تتيح أداء العمرة أثناء موسم الحج.
ودعت الوزارة الراغبين في الحصول على المزيد من التفاصيل حول لائحة التأشيرة السياحية، ومعرفة قائمة الدول التي يمكن لحاملي جنسيتها طلب الحصول على التأشيرة، إلى زيارة ( الموقع الرسمي لوزارة الخارجية ) .
وجددت الهيئة السعودية للسياحة ترحيبها بكافة السياح من جميع أنحاء العالم؛ مؤكدة على أهمية ما أعلنته وزارة السياحة من تسهيلات جديدة تمكن حاملي تأشيرات الزيارة إلى المملكة المتحدة والولايات المتحدة وتأشيرة شنغن، وأصحاب الإقامة الدائمة في إحدى دول الاتحاد الأوروبي أو المملكة المتحدة أو الولايات المتحدة؛ من الحصول على التأشيرة الإلكترونية من خلال موقع وزارة الخارجية؛ سواء لأداء العمرة خارج موسم الحج، أو السياحة أو حضور الفعاليات والمعارض والمؤتمرات، وهي تسهيلات جديدة، تُضاف إلى التسهيلات المقدمة مسبقاً لنفس الفئات، التي يمكنها الحصول على التأشيرة كذلك عند الوصول.
ويأتي هذا الإعلان كتأكيد على جهود منظومة السياحة السعودية، وشركاءها من الجهات الحكومية؛ لتقديم المزيد من التسهيلات للمسافرين القادمين إلى المملكة، واستمرار العمل على تحسين تجارب الزوار وإثراء رحلتهم إلى الوجهات السياحية السعودية، للاستمتاع بالتجارب الملهمة والتنوع الطبيعي والمناخي والثقافي، وأجندة الفعاليات الثرية؛ في جميع مناطق المملكة؛ طوال العام.
وبإمكان المسافرين إلى المملكة والراغبين في إصدار تأشيرة سياحية؛ زيارة الموقع الرسمي لوزارة الخارجية (www.mofa.gov.sa)، للاطلاع على مزيد من التفاصيل والمعلومات الهامة، والتسهيلات المقدمة.
وكانت التأشيرة السياحية الإلكترونية قد انطلقت في الربع الأخير من العام 2019؛ وتوالت القرارات الصادرة لاستيعاب شرائح جديدة في كل خطوة؛ للإسهام في جذب المزيد من الزوار؛ وضمان سلاسة تجربة السائح؛ وتحقيق مستهدفات الاستراتيجية الوطنية للسياحة؛ الساعية لترسيخ مكانة السعودية؛ على خارطة السياحة العالمية.

The Saudi Ministry of tourism has announced new facilities to enable holders of visit visas to the United Kingdom and the United States, Schengen visas and holders of permanent residence in one of the EU countries, the United Kingdom or the United States, who wish to visit Saudi Arabia, to obtain an instant e-visa through the Ministry of foreign affairs website.
The amended visa regulation granted an exception to holders of a valid tourist or business visa from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, or one of the Schengen Agreement countries, provided that it has been activated, by entering the visa-granting country at least once.
This exception includes the relatives of the first-class visa holder for those arriving with him, as well as those who have permanent residence in the United States of America, the European Union countries, or in the United Kingdom, including relatives of the first-class residence holder for those arriving with him, through a visa upon arrival at any of the kingdom's land, sea, or air ports.
The amended tourist visa regulation confirmed that tourists must comply with the regulations and instructions while in the kingdom, including carrying identification documents at all times, pointing out that the tourist visa does not allow performing Hajj, nor does it allow performing Umrah during the Hajj season.
The Ministry invited those wishing to obtain more details about the tourist visa regulation, and to find out the list of countries whose citizens can apply for a visa, to visit ( the official website of the Ministry of foreign affairs ) .
The Saudi tourism authority has renewed its welcome to all tourists from all over the world, stressing the importance of the new facilities announced by the Ministry of tourism to enable holders of visit visas to the United Kingdom, the United States and Schengen visas, and holders of permanent residence in one of the EU countries, the United Kingdom or the United States to obtain an e-visa through the Ministry of foreign affairs website, whether to perform Umrah outside the Hajj season, tourism or attend events, exhibitions and conferences, which are new facilities, added to the facilities provided in advance for the same categories, who can also obtain a visa on arrival.
