يشهد مشروع وسط جدة تسارعًا في أعمال البنية التحتية والمرافق الخدمية والترفيهية، مع تطوير ثلاثة معالم رئيسية: دار الأوبرا، الإستاد الرياضي، والأحواض البحرية.
بدأت المرحلة الأولى من المشروع، وتتضمن إنشاء الشاطئ الرملي، وممشى البحر، ومرسى اليخوت، على أن تُستكمل بحلول نهاية عام 2027. ويمثل ذلك نحو 45% من إجمالي المشروع. أما المرحلة الثانية التي تعادل 36% من الخطة فستكتمل بحلول عام 2030، على أن يتم تطوير النسبة المتبقية (19%) بعد عام 2030.
المشروع الذي أطلقه سمو ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان عام 2021، بتكلفة تقدَّر بـ 75 مليار ريال، يهدف إلى تحويل جدة إلى وجهة عالمية، عبر تنمية مساحتها البالغة 5.7 ملايين م²، ودمج تراثها العريق مع التطوير العصري. ويضم المشروع أربعة معالم بارزة: دار الأوبرا، المتاحف، الإستاد الرياضي، والأحواض المائية، إضافة إلى مرسى لليخوت، منتجعات شاطئية، مطاعم ومقاهي، ومناطق سكنية وتجارية حديثة.
ويأتي مشروع وسط جدة ضمن مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، لتعزيز الاقتصاد المحلي، وجذب الاستثمارات العالمية، وخلق تجارب ثقافية مبتكرة تجعل المدينة السعودية الساحلية في قلب المشهد العالمي.

The Jeddah Central Project is witnessing rapid progress in infrastructure works, public service facilities, and recreational amenities, alongside the development of three main landmarks: the Opera House, the Sports Stadium, and the Marine Basins.
The project’s first phase has already begun, including the construction of a sandy beach, a seaside promenade, and a yacht marina, with completion scheduled by the end of 2027. This phase represents around 45% of the total project. The second phase, representing 36% of the plan, is expected to be completed by 2030, while the remaining 19% will be developed after 2030.
Launched by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in 2021, at an estimated cost of SAR 75 billion, the project aims to transform Jeddah into a world-class destination by developing an area of 5.7 million m² that blends the city’s rich heritage with contemporary urban development. It will feature four iconic landmarks: the Opera House, museums, the Sports Stadium, and the Marine Basins, in addition to a yacht marina, beachfront resorts, restaurants, cafés, diverse retail options, and modern residential and commercial zones.
The Jeddah Central Project is part of Saudi Vision 2030, designed to boost the local economy, attract global investment, and create innovative cultural experiences that will place the coastal city at the heart of the global stage.
