Every day, the Kingdom unveils new mega projects that transform Vision 2030 from an idea on paper into a vibrant reality on the ground. From Qiddiya to NEOM, from AlUla to Asir, and from the Red Sea destination to Riyadh, the map of grand transformations continues to reshape the Saudi future.

Qiddiya High-Speed Rail

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City, in partnership with the National Center for Privatization and Qiddiya Investment Company, announced the opening of registration for companies and entities wishing to compete in the implementation of the first phase of the Qiddiya High-Speed Rail Project through a public-private partnership model.

The rail line will connect King Salman International Airport, King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), and Qiddiya City in just 30 minutes.

The train will reach speeds of up to 250 km/h.

The Commission has also extended the deadline for global companies until November 30, 2025, to submit proposals for the design and construction of Line 7 of the Riyadh Metro, which will stretch 65 kilometers (47 kilometers underground) and include 19 stations connecting Qiddiya, Diriyah, and Masq City with Riyadh’s mega projects.

Shura… Icon of the Red Sea

The Kingdom has opened the first hotels on Shura Island within the Red Sea destination, increasing the luxury accommodation supply in this world-class tourism hub.

A project envisioned years ago by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince is today becoming a dazzling reality.

The island is emerging as a global tourism icon, setting new standards for luxury and sustainability.

AlUla Tram

Swedish company Dellner, in cooperation with Alstom, has successfully completed the first test of components for the AlUla Tram Project.

Total track length: 22.4 kilometers.

Number of stations: 17, linking AlUla’s cultural, historical, and tourism landmarks.

Boulevard Ahad Rufaidah – Asir

Construction is ongoing for the Boulevard Ahad Rufaidah Project in the Asir region, covering 16,000 square meters along King Abdullah Road.

A 5-star hotel.

Commercial areas with restaurants, cafés, and shops.

A variety of entertainment facilities.

Wadi Abha – SAR 1 Billion Investment Alliance

The Asir Development Authority, in partnership with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, has launched an investment alliance exceeding SAR 1 billion to develop the Wadi Abha Project, affiliated with Ardara Company, on a land area of 2.5 million square meters.

22 zones including 16 hotels, 17 sports trails, and 16 water destinations.

Commercial complexes, restaurants, and cafés.

Revitalization of the historic Al-Bihar Square as a cultural and heritage landmark.
