Saudi Arabia opens horizons to the world using generative artificial intelligence

The World Summit on artificial intelligence, in its third edition, which will be held next week in Riyadh, attaches great importance to reviewing the rapid progress in the field of generative artificial intelligence and formulating a common international opinion on how to achieve the optimal benefit from the enormous capabilities of generative artificial intelligence as it is the most important modern technologies that contribute significantly to rapid technical development and increase opportunities for innovation and growth in various fields that benefit humanity as a whole.
The summit highlights this technology as a path towards general artificial intelligence, encouraging a deep understanding of these pioneering technologies and their future implications, and raising awareness among the private, public, non-profit sector and individuals of the uses of multiple generative intelligence technologies in various walks of life, as these technologies have many advantages that can be employed in multiple fields, and are a qualitative leap in their ability to interact machines with users.

These efforts come as part of the kingdom's international initiatives aimed at raising people's awareness of these advanced technologies, including the launch of the Saudi authority for data and artificial intelligence "Sadaya" on January 11, the document of guidelines for the use of generative artificial intelligence tools (principles of generative artificial intelligence), the document includes the principles governing the use of government data, namely integrity and fairness, reliability and safety, transparency and interpretability, accountability and responsibility, privacy and security, humanity, social and environmental benefits.
On February 13, Sadaya launched the " Academy of generative artificial intelligence "in cooperation with Nvidia, to build an empowered generation in this important field, believing in the importance of building qualified national capacities and competing globally to achieve aspirations and ambitious targets.

Generative AI technologies have tremendous capabilities that help raise quality, increase potential and business efficiency, improve productivity, accelerate research, enhance customer experience, develop business processes, enhance employee productivity, and support creative tasks.

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen to make the most of these technologies in line with its Vision 2030 to strengthen the kingdom's leading position in these fields.
