The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hosting the third edition of the most attended technical conference in the world "leap", under the slogan "New Horizons", at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Elham, north of Riyadh, from March 4 to 7, 2024, organized by the Ministry of communications and information technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and drones, and the company "alliance", with the participation of more than a thousand international and local companies in the technology sector, and more than a thousand experts and speakers from 180 countries to discuss the future of technology, artificial intelligence, and review the latest innovations.

This year, the conference includes the "deepfest" platform, which is returning again in partnership with the Saudi authority for data and artificial intelligence (Sadaya), as well as a number of specialized platforms and theaters that offer training courses and innovation sessions, with the participation of a group of startups and the most prominent leading technology companies in the field of artificial intelligence from around the world.

The minister of communications and Information Technology, Eng.Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, confirmed that the LEAP conference, in its third session, consolidates the kingdom's position as a technology and Innovation Center and a magnet for technology investments in the region.

He said that the support and empowerment of His Highness The Crown Prince and Prime Minister for this technical mobility in the kingdom contributed to the kingdom's leadership in the growth of the digital economy in the region through the largest technology market with more than 43 billion dollars, adding that the total venture capital investments in 2023 put the Kingdom at the top of the pyramid, the largest country in the region to receive investments exceeding the ceiling of 1.3 billion dollars, thus accounting for more than half of the investments made in the Middle East and North Africa, considering the kingdom now the largest point for the concentration of digital talents and capabilities with more than 354 thousand young men and girls, with qualitative growth in the empowerment of women in the sector, which today reaches 35%, exceeding the average The European Union, the group of twenty and Silicon Valley.
